Rules and regulations of the school

SCHOOL FEES

School fees that are paid are not refundable.

A full term’s written notice must be submitted to the school if you wish to take your child out of the school. Unless such notice is given, fees for the following term MUST BE PAID.

A 10% discount will be given to siblings (brother or sister) attending the school.

PAYMENT OF FEES

*First term: September, October, November, December (4 months) installment to be paid on or before 7th of September.

*Second term: January, February, March installment to be paid on or before 7th of December.

*Third term: April, May, June installment to be paid on or before 7th of March.

RE-ENROLMENTS: Registration fee and deposit to be paid by the 30th of January. No amount paid is refundable.

SUMMER SCHOOL (optional): Installment to be paid on or before 10th of May.

English Afternoon Lessons (3-9 years old)

PRIORITY

Due to the number of limited places available, priority is given to children who are enrolled first.

ENROLLMENTS

Parents should fill in the Child’s Personal Form. A copy of the pupil’s birth certificate, a recent health certificate, an immunization record and a small photograph must accompany the Child’s Personal Form.

RE-ENROLLMENTS

In order to keep your child’s place for the new school year a registration fee and deposit must be paid by the last day of January of the current school year. This amount is not refundable.

SCHOOL BOOKS

Parents must pay for any books requested by the school.

SCHOOL REPORTS

Reports are given three times a year and parents are invited to the school to discuss their child’s progress.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

School uniforms should be purchased from the school.

Winter uniform: Tracksuit (with school logo).

Summer uniform: T- shirt & shorts (with school logo).

The uniform must be worn on all school outings and official school functions but can also be worn at any other time.

ATTENDANCE

The school operates from September until June, five days a week.

School Hours: 7:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Mondays-Fridays

Teaching Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Pupils are requested to be regular and punctual when attending the school.

The Baby and Toddlers Units have a more relaxed and flexible timetable due to age needs.

ILLNESS

In case of a contagious illness, children must remain at home until fully recovered.

A doctor’s note confirming full recovery must be submitted before the child is allowed to return to the school.

TRANSPORTATION

Mini-bus service is provided on request.

Children using the mini-bus service should be ready at the time agreed with the driver.

An adult should escort the child/children to and from the mini-bus at all times.

Please inform the driver if your child/children will not be riding on the mini-bus any particular day, from the night before.

MOST IMPORTANT

The school must be notified if any person, other than the parents, will be collecting a child from school. It is advisable that the name and brief description of the person collecting the child are given to the School.

Parents should not leave children on the school premises if there is no teacher in attendance at the time.

REGULATIONS POLICY

Please read the English Nursery School Regulations Booklet carefully, and sign and return the attached compliance form to the school. Please keep the “Regulations” booklet handy for future reference.
